It is not uncommon for people to find themselves at a place in their life where they feel that some support is needed, or to get through a difficult time. A period of transition is oftentimes difficult and can cause some stress, anxiety or depression. Adolescence, just to name one, is an example of such time, and can bring about symptoms of mood instability and a decrease in confidence and self-esteem unique to this time in one’s life. Whatever the need, a therapist can work with you and help you to utilize your own strengths and bring you to a place where you may feel more satisfied and content in your own life. I believe that we all have the ability to make our situation better and know what we need to get there, but may need some help to realize this.
